Home Ventilation Systems

In recent years, MPH has expanded into the installation of Stiebel Eltron MVHR systems, providing our clients with another way to improve the comfort and indoor air quality of their homes.

These systems continuously remove stale, moisture-laden air from areas such as bathrooms and kitchens while bringing fresh filtered air into the home. Heat from the outgoing air is recovered and used to warm the incoming fresh air. Recovering up to 94% of heat that would otherwise be lost through conventional ventilation.

MVHR is particularly well suited to modern, well-insulated and more airtight homes, helping to manage moisture levels and provide a healthier, more comfortable indoor environment. But can still be fitted to older homes provided certain design criteria can be met.

With an MVHR system, separate bathroom extract fans are generally not required, as the system provides continuous extraction with a Stiebel Eltron boost control allowing increased ventilation during and after showers when additional moisture removal is needed.
